Big Bend Hot Springs Resort Topographic Survey
The Big Bend Hot Springs topographic survey project consisted of the location of existing natural hot spring locations and facilities, detailing areas of proposed improvements of existing facilities and the location of proposed new facilities. There was also a general topographic survey of the overall area of approximately 20 acres. The property was bounded on one side by a large river which was also located. Significant trees, existing utilities and existing campsites were also located. This site was at a fairly remote location in the county requiring detailed field survey set up and precise scheduling. This field data was reduced and compiled into an AutoCAD Topographic drawing at both 1" = 60 feet and 1" = 20 feet. A digital terrain model was generated and one foot contours were drawn.
