Boundary Surveys
There are two types of Boundary Surveys. The first is a survey that creates a new boundary. These types of surveys would generally result in a Parcel Map or Subdivision Map that is processed and filed through the local agency with jurisdiction over the subject property. NorthStar Engineering has many years of experience with these types of projects.
The second type of Boundary Survey is a survey that retraces an existing boundary. This would be a survey of a deed description or a parcel that was created by a recorded map. These types of surveys often result in the filing of a “Record of Survey” map with the County within which the parcel is located. NorthStar Engineering’s land surveyors have completed literally hundreds of these types of surveys. NorthStar Engineering’s land surveyors have a very broad depth of experience with boundary retracement surveys. NorthStar Engineering’s land surveyors have compiled boundary surveys in many different locations giving them a familiarity with much of the state and in particular Butte County and the surrounding areas. We have a broad range of experience in Public Land surveys and have one land surveyor who holds certification as a CFedS surveyor. We also have one land surveyor that is licensed in Nevada where we have completed large boundary surveys.
