* The above prices include two (2) sets of foundation calculations and four (4) copies of the foundation plan. Calculations and plans will be stamped and signed by a licensed civil or structural engineer. This service is primarily available in California, Oregon and Arizona, though other states are available. Please phone for additional information.
* The timeline is usually one week (in CA, OR, and AZ only) from receiving the building and anchor bolt layout plans, the reactions / calculations from the metal building manufacturer, the signed contract and payment in full. This assumes none of the design exclusions listed below apply. If they do apply, the estimated timeframe will be extended accordingly. The timeframe for other states can be up to three weeks or so, depending on the state.
* The design fee / timeframe for larger buildings, buildings without slabs, buildings with interior columns / reactions, equipment loads, buildings with unique / unusual features (i.e. pier and grade beam foundations, multi-story, interior load bearing walls, etc.) will be determined on an individual basis.
* This price list / timeframe covers buildings to be constructed on stable soils and level building sites. Buildings to be constructed on sites with unique or unusual features (i.e. expansive soils, soils with liquefaction potential, sloping sites, lava cap, high water table, etc.) will be determined on an individual basis.
* A geotechnical (soils) report may be required by the governing state agency or building department. Special inspection and / or structural observation may also be required for certain facets of the foundation construction.
* The listed prices are good for California, Oregon and Arizona only. The price for other states is typically around $100 - $200 more than the listed amount (to cover the costs of licensing fees in other states).
* Prices / timeframes are subject to change without notice and "lock-in" upon receiving the signed contract and payment in full.
