Butte College Control
Butte College, located in Butte County, California retained NorthStar Engineering to provide a local horizontal and vertical control network to organize future projects on one coordinate basis. Along with this control network aerial targets were set to control aerial photos of the entire campus. A topographic survey of a proposed 300 lot parking lot was also done as part of this project. There were extensive GPS surveys completed along with differential levels run through all control. The topographic survey was a combination of Photogrammetric, GPS and conventional surveys. The contract costs were approximately $25,000.00.
