NorthStar Engineering's experience and knowledge of Northern California development regulations, unique site constraints, and the personnel at local government allow us to assist the developer in each unique project. Our project experience ranges from steep mountainous sites to valley locations with limited drainage and everything in between. Due to our frequent work on City infrastructure projects our staff has the ability to design not only the on-site but also the offsite improvements often required by the City of County agency.
Recent changes in the building industry and many City regulations are now requiring new and re-development projects to both limit storm water runoff and clean the runoff prior to releasing it into the streams. NorthStar Engineering is well versed in the preparation of these required storm drainage reports and generally can provide the owner with various options for containment and treatment. In addition to this service NorthStar Engineering is also well versed in the preparation of SWPP Plans needed for all sites over one acre in size.
