Description: This project was the first new urban style subdivision in Chico.  It featured reduced lot size, generally two story detached residences in an over all compact nature to conserve land and promote a sense of neighborhood.    The project includes over 100 homes all served by narrow streets and a network of alleyways that keeps the front of the houses clear of driveways and garage doors.  This neighborhood has quickly become one of the most desirable places to live in Chico.  The most recent phases include attached 3 story row houses in the mission style fronting on a large entrance green space.  The addition of these increased density dwellings in place of single family homes required significant infrastructure re-design by NorthStar Engineering but showed our flexibility when it comes to providing what the custom wants even in a changing market place.
