Energy Calculations
Northstar Engineering can provide California title 24 energy calculations or energy calculations for most other states for your next residential or commercial project, no matter how large or small. Besides providing energy calculations, our Certified Energy Plans Examiner (CEPE) can help you find ways to make you building more energy efficient.
In order for us to complete the energy calculations, we will need the following information:
- A set of building plans that we can keep for future reference. Plans should be to scale and/or be dimensioned.
- Floor Plan with north arrow.
- Elevations.
- Window and door schedule, or windows and door sizes marked on floor plan, and type of windows and doors.
- Roof plan with skylights and over hangs dimensioned.
- Sections or information on wall construction, ceiling heights and floor type(s).
- Electrical and Mechanical plans for commercial projects.
- Energy Calculation Form, which can be printed out.
All the necessary items can be faxed, mailed, emailed (.dwg, .pdf or .jpg), or dropped off in person. We will contact you if we need additional information. Once we have the necessary items, we can give you a quote.
