Foundation Engineering

• The above prices include two (2) sets of foundation calculations and four (4) copies of the foundation plan. Calculations and plans will be stamped and signed by a licensed civil engineer. This service is primarily available in California, Oregon and Arizona, though other states are available. Please phone for additional information.
• The timeline is usually one week (in CA, OR, and AZ only) from receiving the building and anchor bolt layout plans, the reactions / calculations from the metal building manufacturer, the signed contract and payment in full. This assumes none of the design exclusions listed below apply. If they do apply, the estimated time-frame will be extended accordingly. The time-frame for other states can be up to three weeks or so, depending on the state licensing board.
• Excludes buildings:
  … larger than 10,000 square feet
  … without interior slabs
  … with interior equipment requiring foundation
  … with forklift or other traffic requiring slab analysis
  … where expansive soils or liquefaction potential are present
  … where high water table or lava cap are present
  … located on sloping hillsides or without a level foundation pad
  … unusual foundation requirements including pier and grade beam, multi-story, interior load bearing walls, etc.
• This estimate also assumes only foundation analysis is required and does not include allowable area, exiting, ADA, fire hazard, or other analysis.  Geotechnical (soils) reports, special inspections, and/or structural observations are not included. 
• This estimate does not include areas outside California, Oregon, and Arizona.  Timeframes and prices are subject to change without notice.
