Levee Rehabilitation

As part of the Army Corps of Engineers Levee Rehabilitation Project, NorthStar Engineering performed pre-construction and post-construction topographic surveys along numerous levee locations throughout Northern California. NorthStar’s surveyors utilized a combination of conventional and global positioning survey methods to perform pre-construction and post-construction surveys for over three miles levees located in five different counties of Northern California. The field data was reduced utilizing AutoDesk’s Land Development Desktop to produce topographic maps, digital terrain models and cross sections to be utilized in comparing pre-construction and post-construction levee conditions.
