Mitigation and Open Space Management Planning

NorthStar Environmental offers a range of mitigation planning and development services. Our project planning capabilities, along with extensive knowledge of special‐status species and their habitats found throughout the region enables us to interact effectively with agency personnel to provide our clients with ecologically significant mitigation options that meet their regulatory requirements, while reducing mitigation costs whenever possible. Based on our Clients goals and project specifics, we provide recommendations for avoidance, minimization, on and/or off‐site mitigation, and potential permit requirements.  NorthStar Environmental develops mitigation documents including formal mitigation prospectuses, management plans per U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and CA Department of Fish and Game requirements, conservation easements, and preserve management budgets.
