NorthStar Engineering has long been involved in helping cities, recreation districts, schools, and campground owners construct and rehabilitate parks, play fields, and campgrounds. In collaboration with local landscape architects we are able to create beautiful and functional spaces while still conforming to design requirements.
The NorthStar Engineering’s Parks & Recreation design team gives you the advantage of individuals experienced in public projects, the required bidding process, and the level of detail required to bring a proper plan set to bid and thru construction. This team understands the burden on facility management staff for permitting, property acquisition, design management, construction management, and will be made available to prepare that last minute plat or appear onsite to discuss a change in person. With project costs soaring in recent years we are committed to making every construction dollar stretch further by designing to allow simple good looking projects. In many cases this simple design also lends itself best to have the smallest impact on the natural environment and fits in with LEED requirements and methodology.
