NorthStar Engineering was retained to provide a large scale topographic survey for the preparation of an environmental mitigation bank. NorthStar Engineering was retained by the plaintiff Charles Sheppard to conduct a field survey of the site. This survey involved the location of the property boundary lines, the easement lines described in the deeds and the location of items within the disputed easement area. NorthStar Engineering prepared this ALTA/ACSM Land Title Survey for a proposed restaurant lease parcel at the Chico Mall. This survey was unique in that the lease parcel and the restaurant improvements did not yet exist. The existing mall improvements were mapped using aerial photogrammetry, supplemented with conventional ground survey methods.
