Bille Park in Paradise had a naturally beautiful setting but for the most part was highly inaccessible with steep dirt paths serving the majority of the park.  The Paradise Parks and Recreation district envisioned something more, a vision that was cultivated and brought to construction by NorthStar and Land Image.  The completed Bille park expansion expanded the existing meager trail system to include a main ADA access route as well as a series of interlacing decomposed granite paths which bring access down the hill to a natural appearing water feature.  Additional vehicle access and parking was added near the new main pavilion making it ideal for gatherings, weddings, and barbecues.  A natural storm drainage swale with varying erosion issues was restored with a mixture of cobble lining and bank vegetation, now meandering through the park it became a main feature as it drops into a constructed storm water detention pond that doubles as a full time water fall and habitat wet pond.  The site includes both manicured lawns & play fields as well as hillsides of native grasses and seasonal wildflowers making it truly breath taking in both the spring and fall.  One of many collaborative efforts between NorthStar and Land Image Bille Park has really turned out to be a jewel in Paradise.
