NorthStar Engineering is an ideal choice for any new construction or rehabilitation of your school site or government site. NorthStar Engineering has been Butte College's Campus Engineers since 2004. Since then we have helped the Butte College Facility Staff with their aggressive campus expansion plans. This on-going work includes both surveying of existing facilities for campus master planning and specific construction sites as well as preparation of civil site plans for 3 new buildings, civil plans for rehabilitation & construction for over 2,000 parking spaces, over 1.5 MW of solar fields, LEED storm water studies, SWPPP plans, property leases, campus wide benchmark control, surveying for campus aerial photography, and spot ADA accessibility checks / remediation. In addition to specific work for Butte College NorthStar Engineering has prepared plans for countless site plans including parking lots with lighting and landscaping all over the north state for commercial and municipal agencies alike.
The NorthStar Engineering municipal design team gives you the advantage of individuals experienced in government run projects, the required bidding process, and the level of detail required to bring a proper plan set to bid and thru construction. This team understands the burden on facility management staff for permitting, property acquisition, design management, construction management, and will be made available to prepare that last minute plat or appear onsite to discuss a change in person. With project costs soaring in recent years we are committed to making every construction dollar stretch further by designing to allow simple good looking projects. In many cases this simple design also lends itself best to have the smallest impact on the natural environment and fits in with LEED requirements and methodology.
