Mark Adams has been in the civil engineering field for over 25 years with a wide variety of experience including, building design, site development, decentralized wastewater projects. Mark has also been involved in the creation and refinement of the Town of Paradise Onsite Management Zone, Manual for the Onsite Treatment of Wastewater, which includes design criteria for various treatment and dispersal options.
Dominickus (Nick) Weigel III PE, LEED AP, Senior Engineer, CA C66282
Nick is a business partner in NorthStar Engineering, and currently serves as Wastewater Department Manager. He has been with NorthStar Engineering since 2001. In addition to overseeing the on-site designers in his department, Nick also serves on the Board of the California Onsite Wastewater Association (COWA), is a certified National Association of Waste Transporters (NAWT) trainer, teaching Inspection and Operation and Maintenance courses. Nick currently serves a Chair of the Butte County Wastewater Working Group, a group formed by the Butte County Environmental Health Department to assist in creating updated decentralized wastewater regulations and guidelines for Butte County.
Justin Seufert PE, LEED AP, Engineer, CA C73718
Justin is an Assistant Engineer with NorthStar Engineering. His primary responsibilities include site characterization, conceptual design, construction drawings, and technical reports for decentralized wastewater projects. Justin has over eight years of experience as an engineer serving various industries. Justin has held positions as a quality assurance engineer, project manager and project engineer. Past experience includes; the implementation of quality/environmental programs such as ISO 9000 and ISO 14001, remediation and monitoring of soil and groundwater for UST and landfill projects, municipal sewer design, and wastewater treatment plant construction. Justin is currently involved in developing the new On-site Wastewater Manual and Ordinance for Butte County.
Todd Simmons EIT, Junior Engineer
Todd is a Junior Engineer with NorthStar Engineering. Todd has been a part of NorthStar Engineering for the last 8 years and has steadily worked his way from soils testing to project design. Todd specializes in the design of decentralized wastewater collection, treatment, and dispersal systems. He has designed systems to serve individual single-family residences, single-family development projects, mobile home parks, and restaurants. Along with the design for new construction, Todd has been involved in designing repairs to existing failed systems for residential and commercial facilities.
