Neil Graber, Senior Civil Engineer, CA PE 45194 (1990)
Neil is a business partner in NorthStar Engineering, and currently serves as Civil Department Manager. He has been with NorthStar Engineering since 1990 after spending 3 years with Cal Trans. Neil has significant experience in many facets of civil engineering including specialization in commercial site designs and capital project infrastructure design. In his position as head of the Civil Department he is a key component in quality control / assurance and has mastered the art of public design presentations.
(Jay) Lambert Lowe, Associate Civil Engineer, CA PE 59077(1999)
Jay is a business partner in NorthStar Engineering, and heads his own in-house design team. He has been with NorthStar Engineering since 1995. Jay has more experience in field surveying than the typical engineer which allows him to fine tune his designs for better constructability and construction staking. Jay primarily specializes in large subdivisions and small commercial projects in and around the north state area. His knowledge of local codes and AutoCAD skills allow him to quickly arrive at the best design.
Nicole Ledford, Associate Civil Engineer, CA PE 65939 (2004)
Nicole has been a talented member of the NorthStar Engineering team since 2000. Her previous experience in Cal Trans and City government helps her to better navigate the treacherous waters of project entitlement. Nicole’s ability to work with potential developers to formulate a constructible subdivision layout is her strong suit. She works primarily with city and town agencies to further the entitlement process of projects. She also is critical in development of Parks and Recreation facility plans.
Ross Simmons, Associate Civil Engineer, CA PE 68511 (2005)
Ross began working at NorthStar Engineering as an intern in 1998 and has since then has grown exponentially in experience and job expectations. He is a true utility player with experience in nearly every department and facet of work that NorthStar Engineering produces. Recently he has specialized in a few areas including, school site design, roadway roundabout projects, urban style subdivisions, and small water systems. Above all he prides himself in excellent customer service / availability, and quick clean designs.
Robin Kampmann, Assistant Civil Engineer, CA PE 73943 (2009)
Robin has been working at NorthStar Engineering since 2005 and just recently passed her PE exam. Robin works primarily with Jay on a various types of projects from Parks and Recreation to Commercial and Subdivision design. Her ability with AutoCAD allows her to quickly create and modify plans to meet the needs of cities and clients. She has also mastered the ability to create cohesive storm drainage reports that get accepted on the first submittal.
John Lawrence, Junior Designer
John is a relatively recent addition to the NorthStar Engineering design team with his arrival in 2007. He has quickly shown his value though in both his ability to create precise and accurate CAD drawings and his talent for creating illustrative and 3d exhibits. John works on all types of plans from subdivisions to parks and commercial projects. His previous experience at Land Image contributes to his ability to design attractive spaces.
