Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) and Monitoring

NorthStar Engineering is continuously responding to industry demands.  Over the years, NorthStar has developed a number of engineering specialties.  These specialties include preparing Storm Water Prevention Pollution Plans. NorthStar has prepared numerous SWPPPs for single parcel sites as small as 1 acre to large subdivisions, transportation projects, and commercial building sites.  As of September 2, 2011, individuals developing and revising SWPPPs must obtain certification as a Qualified SWPPP Developer (QSD), while individuals implementing best management practices and/or conducting site monitoring, sampling, and reporting activities must obtain certification as a Qualified SWPPP Practitioner (QSP).  Two members of the Water Resources team are certified QSD/QSP. Many projects require a Water Pollution Control Manager and our qualified staff can provide this service.
