Topographic/Design Surveys
Topographic and design surveys consist of surveys of existing conditions of the site showing the existing facilities, improvements, utilities, and the lay of the land. These surveys are used to facilitate the design of new improvements and facilities. Both horizontal and vertical locations are critical to insure that existing conditions can be matched where necessary and that any new facilities are designed to fit within the existing site conditions.
NorthStar Engineering’s land surveyors have extensive experience in these types of surveys. They have been involved in numerous surveys of these types from simple parking lot design surveys to complex subdivision design. They have the land surveying expertise to know what is needed to insure the project designers have the information necessary to complete the design of the project.
