Jackson Wright, EIT
Junior Engineer
Jackson Wright joined NorthStar as a Junior Engineer in June 2025 after interning with the company the previous summer. He holds a civil engineering degree from Chico State and grew up in Paradise, CA, where he developed a love for the small-town atmosphere and outdoor activities. Jackson was attracted to NorthStar by its welcoming and positive environment, where everyone is supportive, friendly, and helpful.
At NorthStar, Jackson is primarily focused on onsite wastewater projects and construction staking plans. He values the interdisciplinary nature of the firm, which allows him to see all aspects of a project—from initial surveying to civil design and architectural coordination. Jackson’s advice to new team members is simple: “Don’t be shy or afraid to ask questions,” a lesson he believes is key to learning and growth.
Outside of work, Jackson enjoys running, mountain biking, and spending time outdoors with friends and family. He’s met several NBA players, dreams of visiting Maui, and is a fan of “The Office” and the “Crime Junkie Podcast.” His personal motto is “Choose the better story,” reflecting his love of adventure and making a positive impact.
