Junior Engineer

Liam Luera joined NorthStar in March 2025 as a Junior Engineer, bringing fresh talent and enthusiasm with his background in job site technical operations and project logistics. He graduated from University of California, Davis with a B.S. in Civil Engineering; his credentials as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) highlight his dedication to professional growth. Originally from Los Angeles, Liam relocated to Northern California to support his family’s business venture in Sacramento.

Drawn to NorthStar by its welcoming team and values, Liam has quickly immersed himself in a variety of projects, including SWPPP inspections, estimating for developments like Lakeridge Apartments, and producing detailed sheet sets and markups. One of Liam’s proud accomplishments was graduating from UC Davis. He loves working in an interdisciplinary firm because he values the opportunity to learn from colleagues with diverse expertise and enjoys the challenge of finding creative solutions together.

When he’s not at work, you’ll likely find Liam out on the lake fishing from his kayak, or on the field playing baseball or soccer. A passionate sports fan, he roots for the Los Angeles Dodgers and Sacramento Republic FC. Known for his perseverance, Liam approaches every task with determination—once he commits, he sees it through no matter how long it takes.
